Assistance Dogs Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Taylor as Chief Executive Officer.

A CIMA-qualified chartered management accountant (CGMA), Tim brings to Assistance Dogs Australia deep experience in finance, leadership and strategic transformation, as well as a proven track record for establishing highly engaged and successful businesses and developing talent.

Tim takes the helm at a pivotal time in its history and is tasked with leading the organisation through a significant expansion and growth period. He served as an Assistance Dogs Australia Board Director from 2022, relinquishing this role upon commencing as CEO in January 2024.

With a rich lived experience of supporting a family member with a life-altering disability, Tim is passionate about making a difference for all Australians with disabilities.

Tim said: “I am delighted to join Assistance Dogs Australia as Chief Executive Officer at what is truly an exciting point in the charity’s 28-year history. We are starting an ambitious transformation journey, with significant investment into our capacity to provide more assistance dogs to people in need. We look forward to being able to help so many more Australians with disabilities who seek independent living and might not ever experience it without our help.

“I look forward to leading the organisation through the next phase of growth and setting a new standard for Assistance Dogs providers both in Australia and internationally.”
