The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for eligible Australians who are living with a permanent and significant disability. The scheme is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency.

Assistance Dogs Australia, as a registered service provider, adhere to all regulations and guidelines required by the NDIS.
 
Under the NDIS scheme Assistance dogs Australia supports you to make lifestyle choices, achieve goals; increase your independence, increase community involvement, education opportunities, or any other area of your life you wish to explore.
 
Under your NDIS scheme, you are empowered to make service decisions and choose your direction in life.
 
Assistance Dogs Australia are ready to take this journey with you and ensure you have access to support and services as you navigate your chosen path.

It costs over $60,000 to train and place an Assistance Dog.

Your donation helps covers training, vaccinations, food and equipment for an Assistance Dog, who is given to a client free of charge.
