We are proud to introduce the Purposeful Placement Dog Program. This unique initiative pairs expertly trained dogs with individuals who would benefit from emotional and/or physical support in their home or private environments.
Unlike accredited Assistance Dogs, Purposeful Placement Dogs do not have public access rights under Australian law. Instead, they focus on bringing comfort, confidence, and wellbeing into the home, helping to foster wellbeing, positive emotional regulation, increased social inclusion and community contribution.
Applicants are not required to have a medical diagnosis. However, they must demonstrate a clear reason for how they would benefit from the companionship and support these dogs provide.
This program is a specialised fee-for-service.
Our dogs are carefully trained to provide meaningful, everyday support.
