Melbourne Graduation
Lunchtime in Melbourne on Friday 13 April saw Sponsors, Volunteers, Staff and Recipients converge on City Square for a graduation ceremony of ADA's service and companion dogs.
Dr Katrina Warren hosted the ceremony where jubilant onlookers crowded around the stage as one by one the recipients were presented with their fully qualified assistants and life time friends. 6 Canine Graduates in total took to the stage in Melbourne.
As recipients of the dogs took to the stage to be presented with their new friend each took a moment to express what the dogs have meant to them and how they have dramatically improved their quality of life.
The graduation provided ADA with the opportunity to convey to the Melbourne community the importance of the work they do and raise awareness about the charity.
A huge thank you goes out to all who supported ADA in launching this huge event. It was fantastic to have the RACV and Allianz volunteers to assist with this fantastic event.
