So how can you get involved?
Sponsor your own puppy
Assistance Dogs Australia can offer you a strategic partnership like no other! Imagine sponsoring your own puppy, watching him or her grow and develop, learn all the amazing tasks he/she can do, like pressing traffic lights, retrieving the phone and barking in an emergency; and then knowing your partnership will literally change a life at the end of the puppy’s training. You would also benefit from puppy visits (great for staff morale and motivation) and puppy updates, at least for the duration of two year training period.
Staff Fundraising- Doggie fun time
Why not host a dog’s breakfast or a puppy shower at your place of work? Assistance Dogs can bring along the latest puppy gang for you and your team to play with. Demonstrations
If you are a big or small company, or belong to a club, school or group and would like to learn about Assistance Dogs Australia why not enquire about us visiting you to do a demonstration.. Assistance Dogs Australia will come and speak to staff and of course bring a puppy to show you the invaluable tasks they are learning to help people with physical disabilities and answer all your questions.
Corporate Walks
Assistance Dogs Australia trainers can visit your work place to give staff an informative demonstration on the abilities of an Assistance Dog, alongside the opportunity to walk the dogs in training during the lunch break.
